Oh... HUZZAH! Not only does that look like an absolutely spiffing bread to try (as a celiac with health 'issues' that can/have/will occasionally leave me bed or more likely chairstuck - I've given up on the storebought GF breads. Too expensive and frankly... I'm pretty sure eating my dishsponge would be just as tasty. And healthy. So basically, I'm just too cheap and too picky to waste the cash) but a recipe that actually uses the odd product I have on my shelves... Dough Enhancer! I picked some up last time I was at the bulk food store on a whim - but I haven't been able to find HOW, WHEN, or even frankly WHY to use it!

I foresee losing the rest of the afternoon to mining through your website so thanks in advance? (And I'm just glad I have already made dinner for my husband!)

Have fun and try out other flours. I think the quinoa would work pretty well as a substitute. The potato flour would take up more liquid than rice flour and may produce a thicker bread but still worth a try.

Love your courage and ingenuity. It inspires me to use what is available and see the possibilities instead of the drawbacks. Health challenges just mean re-thinking a new approach..."necessity is the mother of invention".
I'd love to see your recipes for canning syrups..jams etc.

I am wondering if the bread machine recipe would work with another flour....like potato or quinoa??
I also like to make the dough in my machine and then move it to a regular breadpan and bake it in the oven. I am wondering if that is possible with this bread??
I have made homemade bread for years, but GF is all new to me. Thank You So Much!!

You go girl. I don't have a very large kitchen at all. Me and the walker or electric go go chair is about all that can fit. But like you said, planning is the key. And it is exhausting but oh so rewarding. Don't let your handicap stop you from contributing.
